Words are not adequate to express the sadness I have for the loss of my great friend, Geneva Dellinger. I know how hard she has worked even when it was difficult due to her health. The nursing profession and all who knew her will mourn her passing and deeply feel the manner of her death. A drunk driver killed her in a senseless act of poor judgement. Geneva died instantly and he survived to be confined to jail until a hearing can be held for him. We can only hope that the justice system will look at his act for what it was and sentence him accordingly. Nothing will bring Gigi back but knowing he is at least deprived of his freedom may give some comfort. Love you G. and will miss you forever.
