Carolyn “Carol” Drum Elmore, 63, of Watkinsville GA, died, Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Carol was born in Newton, North Carolina to the late Glen and Pearl Roberts Drum. Carol was an avid bowler and tennis player and adored her Great Pyrenees dogs.

She is survived by her husband, Dean Elmore, children, Scott (Yong Hwa) Gryder and Jeff (Kelly) Gryder, sister, Glenda (Ronnie) Cline, grandson, Joshua Gryder, nieces, Kim (Allen) Rose, and Olivia Elmore, nephew, Ronnie Cline Jr., and great nieces Zoey Rose, Madelyn Rose, and Sophia Rose.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. at Lord and Stephens, West. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, and after the service until 6:00 P.M.

Burial will take place at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1648 Shiloh Rd. Claremont N.C. 28610 Saturday, January 27th at 2:00 P.M.

The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude towards Carol’s co-workers at Piedmont Athens Regional Home Health Care for their love and support during Carol’s sickness.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Hospice or to Shiloh United Methodist Church.
