Joe Boyd Christian, 82 of Danielsville, passed away December 11, 2017. He was the son of the late, Clarence and Ossie Lee Christian. Mr. Christian was twice married and preceded in death by both his first wife, Wadine Powers Christian and his second wife Margie Gabriel Christian; son, Dennis Michael Christian; Infant sister, Mary Lee Christian and brothers, Bussey, Elmer B., Leo H., Johnny O. Christian.
Joe was a retired truck driver with Consolidated Freightways and Joe was “The World’s Biggest Country Music Fan” attending Nashville’s Annual Country Music Festival without fail for over 53 years.
Funeral services are Friday, December 15, 2017 2:00pm at Lord & Stephens, Danielsville with Rev. Dale Carson officiating. The family will be at the funeral home Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Friday December 15, 2017 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. The interment will be in Meadow Cemetery.
Survivors include: Sons, Timothy Joe Christian and Daniel Lee (Amy) Christian; Six grandchildren, Fourteen great grandchildren and One great great grandchildren.
