Dear John, I was truly moved by your loving tribute to Lynne. You had 54 wonderful years together. And, I know you must be heartbroken. Lynne and you have a wonderful life together, filled with your love for your family and friends. We can see that love in the picture of her and AJ. Your tribute brings to light how truly large her extended family is. Few people who have gained the stature that Lynne attained treat people from all people all walks in life with equal love and respect. “Never lose sight of the fact that the most important yardstick of your success will be how you treat other people.” ~ Barbara Bush [wife of George H.W. Bush, who took office in 1989] Lynne, never lost sight of this fact. Lynne has gone on now to live with our Father in heaven. She leaves a legacy of love.

John, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss... but want to thank you for getting to read the story of her blue hair and the way you met one more time (I've heard it several times over the years and enjoyed it every time!). Lynne truly was in the upper hierarchy of wonderfully classy women. I'll always remember plotting your surprise birthday party with her in 2006 and she ended up surprised herself that you didn't find out. She told me that night that you asked her to call me and bow out of showing up... without her sternness with making you come to the hotel you would have missed it entirely AND not worn a tie! Much love to you and Lynne sir. As requested, prayers will be offered by my family for the two of you.

John - Words cannot express the heartache of learning of Lynne's illness and now her being called home to her Heavenly Father. Dear John, I am so grateful to have had the opportunity not only to support you and the great work you were doing, but I also got the chance to volunteer with Lynne as our CEO. What you wrote is still making me cry, but at got the chance to get to know her and I am better for it. Luke 1:78-79 has helped me, may it bring you some peace. She was amazing.
