Michael David Webb, 18, of Athens, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018. Michael was a student at North Oconee High School. Michael’s sweet demeaner allowed him to make many lasting friendships. He faced many challenges in his short years, but was always brave, passionate, humorous, and a loving friend, brother, son, grandson, cousin, and nephew.
He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Michael is survived by his parents, Kery and Whitney Webb, his brother, William, and sister, Mary Frances, his grandparents, Bob and Joyce Reinkemyer, and Jo Ann Webb, and the late Larry Webb. He is also survived by his special friend, Sheila Lee, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Michael touched many lives in his short eighteen years. This quote by Christian D. Larson exemplifies Michael’s character, “Believe in yourself and all that you are. A visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00pm on Friday, June 13 at Lord and Stephens West (1211 Jimmy Daniel Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677). A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 14 at Athens First United Methodist Church (327 N Lumpkin Street, Athens, Georgia 30601) There will be a grave side service to follow at Oconee Hill Cemetery.
