The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Martha Hughes can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: A. D.
Condolence: I am very sorry for your loss. It is not an easy time to go through. Talking about it with someone always helps, and their is no one better than God, he even gives us in the Bible Hope in John 5:28, 29 where he promises to bring back to life our loved ones. And in Revelation 21:4 he promises us a better future where we won't suffer no more. To know more visit jw.org

Condolence: Dearest Phyllis, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. Having lost both of my parents, I sincerely feel your pain. As time passes, I am now able to feel the joy of my parents and all the wonderful memories we shared. Go in the piece that we know that your dear mother is now with our Heavenly Father and is waiting for us to join her. God Bless you! Julie Bradley

Condolence From: Lorie Ann Ogle Grimes
Condolence: There are several special people in my life that I am blessed to say have made me who I am, Mrs. Martha Hughes was most wonderfully one of those people. My testimony for Christ and love of teaching would not be the same if Mrs. Hughes had not been an excellent, loving, and wise Sunday school teacher as I grew up with her and my Sonlight family. She did not just want to serve at church, she witnessed the joy of the Lord every where, especially in her home where my Sunday school peers and I made many homemade pizzas and played many games. There is a very popular movie and song right now titled, I Can Only Imagine, and I without a doubt know that my precious teacher, mentor, and friend Mrs. Martha Hughes is now experiencing the glory of heaven, and I can only imagine what she has said and done as God said to her, well done my good and faithful servant. I loved you dearly and look forward to meeting you again someday in our heavenly home.
