Sharlyn “Sissy” Peters (O’Dillon) of Bogart, GA passed away onJune 20, 2018at the age of 72.
Sharlyn was born on January 29, 1946 in Neese, GA. She resided in Oconee County, GA for the majority of her life where she was well known and loved as Sissy. She dedicated her life for her family and others.
Sharlyn is survived by her husband of 20 years Jimmy Peters, sons Randy (Rhonda) Whitehead and Chad (Alexis) Whitehead, 4 granddaughters Kayla, Kimberly, Bailey, and Avery Grace, and 2 great grandsons Rollin and Ryder. She is preceded in death by her parents Rev. Pete and Alene O’Dillon, sister Pasty Harvey, and brother Jimmy O’Dillon.
Funeral service will be held Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, West. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sharlyn’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
