Condolences

Condolence From: A. D.
Condolence: I am very sorry for your loss. It is not an easy time to go through. Talking about it with someone always helps, and their is no one better than God, he even gives us in the Bible Hope in John 5:28, 29 where he promises to bring back to life our loved ones. And in Revelation 21:4 he promises us a better future where we won't suffer no more. To know more visit jw.org

Condolence From: Joyce Floyd
Condolence: Please know that it saddens me when someone younger than I passes on. Amelia was dear to me, though our paths didn't cross often in later life. I pray that your families will be at peace, knowing she is at rest with her Savior, Jesus Christ!

"My Tribute to our friendship, that lasted from about 1943 until her death."
We were neighbors, living in Athens, Georgia, in the 1940's; on Satula Avenue, and Pulaski Street. As we were growing up, she invited me to go to her church, the Christian Church, at the corner of Dougherty and Pulaski.

Then, as married couples, we became neighbors again, in Quailwood Subdivision, Athens, Georgia.
The reputation of her worth at DeVore & Johnson was well known around Athens, but you would never know it by talking to her. And, she never did demonstrate that red bath tub that D & J had on display!
