J. Norman Armour – February 21, 1941 – May 12, 2018
After a two-year battle with cancer, Norman left this earthly home and was immediately transfixed into His eternal Heavenly home where there will be no more sickness, no more pain and no more death.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents, William Mack and Ethel Harrison Armour. Also to precede Norman were his siblings, Allen Armour, Kathryn A. Tuggle and Betty Jayne A. Lynn.
Norman is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sonja Barber Armour; children Royce A. Gabriel (Keith), Kristen Hardigree, and James Norman Armour Jr. (Burnette): grandchildren Shelby Parks, Tori Deariso, Kory Hardigree and Collin Armour: great-grandchildren, Keith Moon and Whitleigh Moon: siblings, Lillian A. Mapp, Fannie A. Thompson, Sarah A Feild, Max Armour (Gloria) and Martha A. Margolin and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Everyone loved Norman.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 19, 2018, in the fellowship hall of Crawford Baptist Church from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with the funeral immediately following at 1:00 pm in the sanctuary.
Donations may be made to the Crawford Baptist Church or Carpenters for Christ.
