Obituary for David Daniel Hutchins Jr.

David Daniel  Hutchins Jr.
David Daniel Hutchins, Jr., 73, husband of Ann Austin Hutchins, died Thursday, April 19, 2018. A native of Athens, he was the son of the late David Daniel Hutchins, Sr. and Maggie Laura Whitehead Hutchins. He was also preceded in death by his son, David Daniel “Davey” Hutchins, III. David was a loving and Godly husband, father, brother and grandfather. He worked in construction all of his life, served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict and enjoyed carpentry work and gardening.
Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters: Tami Keanum of Loganville and Wendy Barrick of Oklahoma City, OK; step daughter: Donna Wells of Bogart: sister: Jean Wilson of Athens; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a niece and nephew.
A graveside service will be held Monday, April 23, 2018 at 3PM at Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery with Revs. Wayne Smith and Blair Tolbert officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 on Monday at the funeral home.
