Jason Scott McElhannon, 40, of Colbert, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Born in Montgomery, AL, Jason was the son of George Dennis McElhannon and Nina Jean Jackson McElhannon. He was a machine operator for Baldor ABB Motors and Mechanical. He was an avid motor cycle rider. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Wendy Benedict McElhannon; children: Ireland Brianna McElhannon, Kasey Arleene Dillon, Breanna Leigh-Arabelle McElhannon, Isaiah Cooper McElhannon; siblings: Carmen Andrews, Daniel McElhannon, Zoe Meadows, Chuck Mehalick, Reginald McElhannon, Joseph Austin McElhannon, Sarah Kaye McElhannon and Cameron Eli McElhannon; grandson: Benjamin James Sharp and a number nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 1PM at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the funeral home.
