The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Larry James can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Crystal Demsky
Condolence: Robbye and family,

I am so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I am an alumni of ACS class of '96. I really enjoyed watching Larry play basketball both at home in Athens, and especially in the state tournament in Madison, when we had such a great team. Watching and following that team is one of my favorite high school memories because the entire school bonded as we shared those fun, inspiring, and proud moments together. He brought a lot of joy to our school in those years. My prayers are with you all.

Condolence: I am very sorry for your loss. It is not an easy time to go through. Talking about it with someone always helps, and their is no one better than God, he even gives us in the Bible Hope, in John 5:28, 29 where he promises to bring back to life our loved ones. And in Revelation 21:4 he promises us a better future where we won't suffer no more. To know more visit jw.org

Condolence From: Charles and Barbara Wilson
Condolence: Dear Loved Ones,
Larry's unexpected leaving has left a tremendous void in the hearts of so many. In the days that follow there will be painful and sorrowful moments that turn into days; through your faith and the prayers and actions of friends, you will be encouraged to lift up your eyes to the One who will sustain you moment by moment. Know that many are crying with you and will also be anticipating that one day you will see your beloved Larry again. With God's eternal plan, your hearts will then rejoice.
With heartfelt love and prayers, your friends, Charles and Barbara

Condolence From: Beth and Dick Brown
Condolence: Larry will be missed by so many, but especially by us. He was a great friend and we always looked forward to having prime rib with him on Tuesdays at Rafferty's. Raffs won't be the same..
We pray for strength for the James family and for Catherine. You have all been through so much. He loved you dearly and we feel as if we know you because he spoke of you often.
We love you Larry and will see you again. Save us a seat at the bar...
God speed, our dear friend,
Beth and Dick
