Obituary for Teressa Long Schultz

Teressa Long  Schultz
Teressa L. Schultz, 81, of Winterville, died February 12, 2018.
Born in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Esco and Evelyn Vinson Long. She was retired from Westclox with over 30 years of service. Teressa was a longtime member of West End Baptist Church where she served as organist over 40 years and was a current member of Gilead Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, James Melton “Smiley” Schultz, Sr; daughter, Phyllis (Ray) Ginn of Colbert; son, James M. “Jim” (Kathy) Schultz, Jr. of Danielsville; grandchildren, Renee (Kevin Burns) Ginn, Maggie (Bill) Mauldin and Brannon Rogers; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Melton (Rea) Long of Athens, niece, Tracy Long Smith and nephew, Randy Long.
The family will receive friends at Lord and Stephens, EAST, Wednesday, February 14, 2018 beginning at 12:00 Noon. Services will follow in the chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Sean Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
