Charles Sidney Lyle, 83, of Bishop, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Charles was born in Union Point, GA to the late Mallory and Florence Culver Lyle. He loved to hunt and fish and was a member of Living Word Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by a brother, James Lyle, and sister, Dorothy Lindler. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Lyle, children, Derrick (Melanie) Lyle, Stuart (Lisa) Lyle, and Marcie (Jim) Fambrough, grandchildren, Morgan Lyle, Josh Lyle, Chloe Fambrough, and Olivia Fambrough, along with many other extended family.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Lord and Stephens, West with Rev. Larry Davidson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
