Obituary for Lucy Clark

Lucy Clements Clark, 81, passed away January 3, 2018. She was surrounded by her loving family and was able to gracefully and peacefully say goodbye.

A native of Mystic, GA, she was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Dollie Parrish Clements and her granddaughter, Lauren Dee Clark.

Mrs. Clark retired from C&S Bank/Bank of America after many years of dedicated service. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Athens and the Order of the Eastern Star. She will be remembered by all for her beautiful blue eyes and her caring nature.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Joe Clark; two daughters, Dee Clark of Commerce and Cassie (Bill) Appleby of McKinney, TX; three grandchildren, Joey Clark, Trent Appleby, Elizabeth Link; great grandchildren, Kallie Clark, Kiah Schnabel, Bryson Barge, Savy Link and Etta Link; a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Joey Clark, Trent Appleby, Bill Appleby, Pete Ferguson, Clark Kelly and Alex Hernandez.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
