Hope Nicole Bell, 34, of Athens, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 following a courageous three-year battle with cancer.
She was the daughter of Barry A. Dawson and Cassandra Harris Dawson. Hope was a graduate of Cedar Shoals High School and was employed with Estes Express for over 16 years. She loved spending time at the beach and most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Albert and Katie Dawson and maternal grandparents, Douglas and Doris Harris.
Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband of over 13 years, Jason Scott Bell; father and mother-in-law, Kenny and Janice Bell; one brother, Douglas Dawson; five uncles, four aunts and nineteen cousins.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, West. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
