Gladys Marie McAllister, 80, of Athens, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017.
Born in Richland, GA, she was a daughter of the late Eugene C. Moncus and Jenny Walker Moncus. Mrs. McAllister loved her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin “Bo” McAllister; one daughter, Lisa Marie Harris and five siblings.
Survivors include two daughters, Dee Suarez and Linda Davenport; three sisters, Mary Alice Buchanan, Patricia Monday and Helen Eugenia Lane; six grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, East. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 pm.
