Wilbur Harold “Buddy” Moore Jr., died Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Born in Athens to the late Wilbur Harold Moore Sr., and Maudine Louallan Moore, Buddy was a lifelong dairy farmer and enjoyed riding motorcycles and his horses. Buddy served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his children, Richard Shane Moore (Amy), Pamela Lynn Moore, and Joseph Daniel Moore, siblings, Margaret Finch and Bill Moore, grandchildren, Hailey Moore, Sommer Moore, Brooke Crowe, Devon Crowe, Austin Moore, Isaac Moore, Andi Grace Moore, and Joseph Moore Jr., and great grandchildren, Caroline Moore and Waylon Moore. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 6th at 11:00 A.M. at Macedonia Church Cemetery in Union Point. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
