Condolence From: Mike & Nancy Deschenes
Condolence: Our condolences to Bob's immediate family and his professional family at BCS.
Although we are unable to attend his services, we extend our personal respects to Bob Cook, an industry Icon who possessed the wisdom and dedication to excel professionally, complimented by a charming southern personality with integrity, sensitivity and a degree of humility that endeared him to all he touched.
Many industry awards and honors have been bestowed on Bob as he has been recognized, nationally, for his professionalism and as a benchmark in the territory served by his agency…. however, even with all these accolades, I believe he enjoyed, and is most respected for, the countless friendships and personal relationships he garnered throughout the entire industry.
We feel blessed for our relationship with Bob and our special times together… He has left an indelible imprint on our lives and will long be remembered in wonderful memories.

Condolence: Bob Cook was one of the finest people I have met in my 40 plus years in the automotive specialty industry. He was absolutely honest, very knowledgeable, hard working, creative and an all around good guy. I served on the Sema Board of Directors with him, and am a fellow Sema Hall of Fame member. We hunted together in Iowa with the Dee Zee group many times... he was just a joy to be around. We exchanged emails quite often up until recently. I will miss him, as will many others in our industry. Rest in Peace Bob!

Condolence: A tribute to Bob Cook from Scot Goddard
I could not be here in person today but am certainly here in spirit. Bob Cook……SEMA Hall of Fame, PWA Person of the Year , Rep of the Year (many times). The awards go on and on.
The real award was knowing you for some 30+ years and being able to call you a friend. I first met Bob in the 1980’s when I was working as a buyer in the wholesale side of the automotive aftermarket. Working with Bob was a pleasure. He was the most genuine and honest person I had ever met. I just knew we would be very successful together. I could learn a lot from this guy if I just listened to him.
Over the years I moved around to several companies as a buyer yet there was the same ole Bob right there to help me out or sell me something new. Year after year, show after show, I was always happy to see Bob or spend time with him.
About 15 years ago I was invited to Iowa to hunt with the “old Dee Zee group” who had been getting together to hunt every year at a big hunting lodge. Bob was already a part of this group of about a dozen or so industry veterans. Over the years we lost most of the Dee Zee group and it simply turned into a bunch of old friends gathering once a year in December to eat a lot, drink a little (or a lot), play some cards, story telling and maybe do some hunting.
What fun we had, told the same stories year after year and still laughed at every one. I am so fortunate to still be a part of this group. Our hunt is still planned for this year in December. It will never be the same without Bob crop dusting the place. You hunters know what I am talking about.
Rest in peace buddy……we will take it from here. Send a big buck my way in Dec please.
