Condolence From: Robert Emery
Condolence: We had the privilege of serving with Dr. Nash as he served at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Lavonia as an interim pastor. It was always a joy to be around him and his sweet spirit was exactly what our church needed during the time that he was there. God knew exactly what he was doing when he sent Bob to serve at Poplar Springs during that time. Our prayers for the family. Pam and Robert Emery

Condolence From: Naomi Holts
Condolence: Please allow me to express my deepest condolences for your family's loss. I hope that you will find comfort in the real hope that the Bible gives of being reunited with your loved one again. In the Bible at John 5:28, 29 it reads, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.". The Bible there promises that your loved one will come back to life again in the resurrection. (Acts 24:15) The Bible also promises that soon death will be no more. (Revelation 21:3, 4) I encourage you to visit JW.org for more information about this wonderful hope.

Condolence: Bob Nash was larger than life in everything he did. As a missionary, he was respected by Filipinos and missionaries alike. As a mission leader he was both trusted and, even more, admired as a gracious peacemaker and a strong decision maker. Nobody has ever navigated potentially tumultuous mission meetings with more humor and charm than Bob Nash. As a family man, one neeed only to see the sheer joy always evident in the faces of Jan, Rob, and David. As a friend, everyone always seemed to feel he/she was one of Bob's best friends. As a minister, he was loved and respected by congregations who saw that he never was able to retire from ministry. We were all blessed in that Bob's shadow crossed our lives and that his joyous laugh and Christlike love filled our hearts. He was one of a kind and, although his death leaves great sadness here, God's heaven must be a happier place today. Welcome home, Bob.

Condolence From: Bob & Erly Betia
Condolence: Bob Nash is one of the few Missionaries that made a distinct imprint in our lives and ministry. We had a few meetings in Bangkok Thailand when we were ministering there. Our communication were few but enough to update us with their lives and ministry after retirement. Comfort and peace to Jan and the rest of the family as we kneel for you all in times like these... and beyond.
