Condolence From: Elizabeth Ruark Hoefer
Condolence: By way of introduction, I am the daughter of Herbert Ruark, Arlene's first cousin on her mother's side. I left Georgia after high school and now live in Alexandria, VA. But I met Arlene in my younger years, and I remember her as young. I knew her mother and father well and knew Beverlee. My first encounter with Aunt Lillie Mae and Uncle Roy was on a visit to Illinois with my parents, grandfather Emory Ruark, and my Aunt Frances , who was also a child. I have memories of a cousin Dennis (Bobby and Ethel?) and I have a picture of Frances and me from that visit.
When the Turners moved to Georgia, we saw more of them both in their home and in ours. I have memories of a trip to Lake Burton with them. And over the years I have heard from my Aunt Carleen and cousin Bobbie about Arlene. They both really liked her, I know. Bobbie told me about her passing. Carleen and Bobbie have always been good about maintaining family ties.
I was sorry to hear about Arlene's passing, but her longevity was impressive, and I have heard many good things about her. It seems from those things and what is written here that she had a full life and was well-loved. I know my father would have wanted me to connect with her family. We are scattered now, but I wish I had known her better.
My thoughts are with you.
Sincerely,
Liz (Ruark) Hoefer

Condolence: To Bob and family,
So sorry to hear of Arlene's passing. She was a great lady and I was proud to call her my cousin. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. My mom still has the clown that I believe Arlene painted and gave to mom. Always thought of Arlene when I see that clown.
Love to everyone,
Janet, David, Josh and Robert

Condolence: In deepest sympathy for the passing of Grandma GG..
May everyone find comfort and peace in the remembrance of her wit & quick smile, her giving & generous nature, and her hilarious jokes made even on her 100th birthday.
It's impressive knowing that Grandma GG experienced the two greatest total American Eclipses during her long and fulfilling lifetime.
We are grateful this great lady was family. She will be missed by all...
Love & Peace,
Randy, Colleen & Chelsea-Belsea
