Obituary for Frank Ronald Crane

Frank Ronald Crane, 81, husband of Linda Rohrer Crane, died Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Born in Melbourne, Australia, he was the son of the late Albert Edward Crane and Ruby Estelle Sparks Crane. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jack and Bill.
Frank moved to the United States in the early 1970s, living and working in the Atlanta, GA area in Automotive Sales and most recently moved to Athens, GA where he worked for Heyward Allen. He was a member of Athens Church and one of the founding members of the Chattahoochee Road Runners. Frank was an avid runner and competed in numerous 10Ks, marathons, and triathelons.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters: Cade (Rick) Schell of Charlotte, NC; Dana (Mark) Bray of Athens; sister: Emily Stevens of Colac, Australia; grandchildren: Nathan and Andrew Schell, Skylar Wickenhouser, Celia and Delaney Bray and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 2 PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Lord and Stephens, East is in charge of arrangements.
