Obituary for Charles Kenneth Riley Jr.

Charles “Chuck” Kenneth Riley Jr., died Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Riley. He is survived by his father, Charles Kenneth Riley Sr., son, Charles Kenneth Riley III, ex-wife, Rita Riley, and many cousins.
Chuck was a longtime member of the United States Army, he was stationed as infantry in Germany, and then completed airborne school and was part of the 5th Special Forces in Ft. Campbell KY, he was 3rd Special Forces at Ft. Bragg NC for 16 years, and served in many campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. He was awarded with the Bronze Star, Commendation Medal, Achievement Medal, Conduct Medal for National Defense, Service Medal for Global War on Terrorism, Service Medal for Iraq, Campaign Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Combat Infantryman Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, Senior Parachutist Badge, and German Armed Forces Parachutist Badge.
The family will hold a memorial service Monday, June 19th at 2:00 P.M. at Lord and Stephens, West Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
