Obituary for Suzanne Fuller

Suzanne Fuller, 52, of Athens, wife of Charles Fuller, died peacefully at home on June 4, 2017.
Suzanne held both A.S and B.S. degrees in Dental Hygiene. She worked in the dental field from 1985 until 2013. She truly enjoyed her career in dentistry. She worked for many years in the practice of Dr. C.S. Wilbanks and considered so many of her patients great friends.
Suzanne had a great love of animals and had a menagerie of them. She also loved being in the outdoors, working in her yard, spending time in the North Georgia and North Carolina mountains and taking trips with her husband. Favorite vacations for them were on the coast of Maine, Charlottesville, VA, the 2011 Kentucky Derby, Charleston, SC and of course, the mountains of Georgia and North Carolina. Two of her newest interests were learning to fly fish and training for agility with her constant canine companion, Lexie.
Suzanne was a child of Holy God, believer in Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior, lover of animals and student of the great outdoors. She was preceded in death by her father, Allie Lester Carson and her brother, Jeffrey Alan Carson.
Survivors in addition to her husband include her mother, Mary Frances New Carson; brother, Greg Carson; sister, Angela Thaxton and her husband, Byron of Watkinsville; one niece, Amanda Savage Peppers and her husband Dusty of Watkinsville; one great niece, Mollie Frances Peppers; one great nephew, Griffin Carson Peppers of Watkinsville; her mother-in-law, Martha Fuller of Auburn, AL; brother-in-law, Wade Fuller and his wife Melanie of Montgomery, AL; nephews, Zach Fuller, Charlie Fuller, Colton Fuller and Kyle Fuller, all of Montgomery, AL; sister-in-law, Carol Bergh and her husband Roger of Statesboro, GA and Stephanie Bergh Dammann and her husband Kieth of Atlanta, GA; Michael Bergh and his wife Naomi of Auburn, AL; also, very special friends, Marlin and Jessie Brown of North Augusta, SC; Kaye Dyer-Patton of North, VA; Linda Kay Daniel of Athens, GA Joan Smith of Winterville, GA, Sheila Richie of Danielsville, GA, Mary Fenner of Athens, GA; the Compton Family of Covington, GA, Marilyn Allison of Watkinsville and Melody Higginbotham of Athens, GA and her best buddy, Lexie and two other sweet canines Molly and Gideon;
Pallbearers will be Zach Fuller, Charlie Fuller, Colton Fuller, Kyle Fuller, Michael Bergh and Kieth Dammann.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, East. Interment will follow at the Fuller Family Cemetery in Auburn, Alabama on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
